Anonymised rubber ducks

The April show was our last for however long as Stuart jets off to the UK for work, rest and play.  It was appropriately free-wheeling.

Malty Media Radio Show (Radio) 26 January 2010

26/01/2010 20:00
26/01/2010 22:00

Two members of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop

For the first of our now-monthly radio shows, we figured we'd theme it around radio itself. We turned the dials with our hands / till we found the short-wave band.

Malty Media Radio Show (Australia)

22/12/2009 21:00
22/12/2009 23:00

Roadside in rural Australia

Michael played a bunch of stuff from Australia, from the stereotypical to the not so, while Stu took a well-deserved holiday in the icy climes of Nelson. Crikey!

Malty Media Radioshow (Germany)

08/12/2009 21:00
08/12/2009 23:00

Ralf Hütter und Florian Schneider

This show focused on matters Germanic, mit glitzerstrahl! We broadcast a wealth of Deutsche electronica, the odd (very odd) foray into Teuton Funk, plus a bit of electroacoustic, industrial, and, frankly, Rammstein. Plus Klaus Kinski as (sorry, *is*) Jesus.

No Bach, unfortunately. Or Wagner, thankfully.

24/11/2009 23:00

Image of fractal bunny

We in-crowded it with our friends. Stuart flew solo in the studio with the help of tracks collated by a seriously laryngitic Michael. Our friends were served. In many senses.

Malty Media Radio Show (Essence) 10 November 2009

10/11/2009 21:00
10/11/2009 23:00

Bottle of vanilla essence

This show promises to get to the nub of things, to identify the root elements, and distill out only the most fundamental ingredients, all without being in any way unnecessarily reductionist. (Positivism has been a blight on the scientific process.)

Malty Media Show (Remixes) 27 October 2009

27/10/2009 21:00
27/10/2009 23:00

Shaken, stirred, whatever

This show featured remixes by ourselves and others. We also discussed the merits of Scarlett Johansson's musical career.

Malty Media Radio Show 1st Anniversary (Clip Show)

13/10/2009 22:00

Collage of one year's worth of event images

Reflecting on one year since we shifted our show from a cafe gig to radio, this show was in the style of the much-maligned clip show - sifting through our favourite bits where we got our hands dirty and did something more than just DJ someone else's tunes.

Not much point in a podcast for this one...
